Above is the cover of the first 1949 edition. No, this isn't
the exact same copy that Mom used to read us. I found this one in an antique shop.
The previous page showed you a modern edition of the book,
with a red cover. I have also seen them over the years with a red and green cover. |
I sure wish you could still buy them for the same price!
